He's fine, baron even warned Daato to not be too lenient on them so he ended up with a personality similar to Gojo's (from jjk) huge ego.
I'm going to sound crazy, but he's being nice. 1. It doesn't look good on his image to have a previous alpha's omega, 2. he sent a doctor to monitor his health/heats, 3. AND gave him a chance to a prestigious school. 4. He's technically being honest from the get go when he could litterally just play the omega.
Im not excusing it, but of course he's going to be pushy to see if they're even physically compatible or he'll just be wasting his time.
Overall, he was always the more cunning & arrogant one between him and Hugo. But of course if Shaia falls in love, he's going to have to mature, especially if he wants to win the uke over from the his previous alpha (he seemed very respectable).
