There's a few stories like this one where the mc is actually the person, born and raised, but something happens and they're like oh I've lived before then they completely change but I sometimes wish because they spent all of their recent years as this version of themselves that they wouldn't entirely change, if that makes sense. It would've been funny if she remembered the story and then used it to be even worse, would've been funny and different
