(The funniest part is when the group finds out who it is, one person is like 'hey I slept with that guy! Dane is great. But also does not fall in love at all, Grayson is doomed" and they all get to enjoy that)
She doesn't specifically make him suffer, she barely appears in the story (only a couple times throughout the story)
She SEES him suffer (because of Dane), but right away she acknowledges that she is a human being with emotions (she literally says so in her mind monologue) and therefore she doesn't gloat on his suffering and after he apologises she accepts his apology and become true friends for real this time, and she finds peace after accepting his apology honestly (because before that she's full of resentment)
But her wish is fulfilled, since she said she wanted to see him suffer (especially by the hands of his true destined person, she wanted that person to make him suffer and Dane did) and she finally got rid of her resentment at the end so..
