Hello! In America it goes like this:
High school:
Grade 9 - freshman
Grade 10 - sophomore
Grade 11 - junior
Grade 12 - senior
College or 4 year university:
1st year - freshman
2nd year - sophomore
3rd year - junior
4th year - senior
For Korean I think first here are 16 cause high school is three years and here in America there are 4 years in high school. Freshman which are 9th graders they're mostly 14-15 and sophomore year is 10th grade, age 15-16 junior year is 11th graders they're mostly 16-17 and senior year is 12th graders and it's the last year of high school which should be done at the age of 18 but it depends on what age the kid enter kindergarten

In the U.S high school starts at 9th and ends at 12th grade. 9th grade is Freshmen, 10th grade is Sophomore, 11th grade is Junior, and 12th grade is Senior. Bonus: if you end up repeating a year then you end up as a Super Senior which is like 13th grade.
