I have been reading this for almost 15 years definitely. First BL fandom that i joined through livejournal. I still have the early chapters downloaded in my hard drive. cause in that dark period 10 yrs ago.... there was no convenient online manga reader like mangago. Most yaoi scanlation are shared via livejournal or yahoo forum... wow i am so old (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

well he did think he was an alpha before so that's most likely where his preferences started
I thought he was just admiring them cuz they look pretty or cool
that could also be it. but remember in the beginning he was trying to marry a pretty and rich omega back when he thought he was an alpha
