The thing is that I don't want to like Ayeon. He doesn't deserve to be liked. He did nothing to make up for what he did in Never Understand (aside from destroy the camera and then apologise). And yet he was so lovely in this story that I can't help but like him and separate him from the Ayeon in the main series. Just me having this moral dilemma?

It seems to be up to the reader to decide what actually happened but most people in the comments were saying he was raped. I thought it seemed likely, though regardless both you’re not wrong that it’s unforgivable either way :(
although what he did was still wrong and, i can tell, very traumatizing for our bby jaerim. i highly doubt he actually raped him since he said that was his first time. think abt it, who would be in their right mind to ask the guy u "raped" for sex advice lmaoaoaoa

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it yet but there is actually an “after story” chapter exclusive to the book version of this. I haven’t read it because I don’t know where to purchase the book (their shop is currently closed) but your “sequel” is out there! And the preview looks like it could be a happier ending!
