hear me out... tbh I smell some shounen ai from this manhwa. don't get me wrong with though "you just can't see two man be friend" the thing is friend don't do things like that blonde guild master and MC do. like... they're dancing, they act like a prince and princess in rescue, ect.
I never see a real male friendship do things that they do, even as a girl I never do that shit with my friend, they're too... sus... tbh... is it author's strategy to yaoi bait like narusasu or something?

Tbh I don't see a problem with that? It's not like we are not baited with Riette too... and we also get the same feeling from harem and reverse harem too... even if the end game love interest is very clear we still get a lot of flirting and interest from other characters no?
Personally I wouldn't mind if they ended together. The story wouldn't be more or less interesting depending on mc's orientation. To me it would be a lot worse if they pushed romance with the high-school girl or even his brother... because yeah those would be disturbingly bad and even then still possible to exist.
And let's be real... at least their relationship is cute and interesting. Better them 95% of most male mc comics I've read... if their female leads and their interactions with mcs were half as interesting as theirs we wouldn't see so many comments wishing for no romance on them...

Tbf their relationship is better than most comics... even some in the romance genre... so yeah... I like it... I also feel like there's a good balance between the focus on the relationship and the overall plot. It's a pretty solid comic/novel

Kinda at the end for hyunjae i think bro i don't remember anymore lol coz there's diff parts where those two confessed and the other one just saying it in a teasing way
for god sake, the ML played a big 4D chess with a really good strategy there. regardless his psychotics traits he nailed everything to his favor yet his tactics is believable and not making it weird. I really hate him at first, but now I tolerated him cuz I can't guess him at all and he really brings out the unexpected. though some scenes doesn't make any sense but this is still bearable. he got the power, influence, and purpose. truly a gold villain
the MC character development is also good. from a really naive and pure woman to the point she know how to played the affection and lay low to gain what she want. I can see the potential but the latest chapter really... disappoint me. rather than join the game she choose to retreat and lost her memory... I hope she can win the 4D chess and gain her freedom even though it's almost impossible for this type of manhwa.
the villain is not typically dumb too, there's no a good or bad character here, everyone had their own business and do what it takes to grab it. truly represent politics at it's core. I hope there'll be more manhwa like this
