This is actually so fucked up and creepy. It was as if Sia of the past life have been expecting and planning to meet with Heeyoun/Boksil all this time. I used MTL on the last dialogue of the last side story and she said “I’m glad to see you again.” Know this, she said this line AFTER the timeline went from past to modern era and Sia of the past was fucking SMILING??? That’s so creepy. It would have been so sweet if the two of them were sweet lovers but this is nothing but manipulation at the beginning.
Since I’ve seen it for myself, my view of the original story has been tainted and changed forever. I can no longer see the original story as a love story for Sia and Heeyoun, all I see now is a manipulative twist of fate that Sia pre-planned for her and Boksil to meet again in their next life and the irony where he hated having a child and in their next life, Boksil/Heeyoun wanted to have a child with her.

The only spoiler I remember, to which I don’t remember where I read it, is that Penelope and Callisto have a son that resembles Callisto but has Penelope’s eyes I think or a literal mini Callisto. Anyway, (warning: might not be clear) there was a scene where their son saw a mirror and saw his mother’s other appearance in the original world and he cried, afraid that Penelope will leave so he ran to where she is. He begged her not to leave him and dad. It was a really adorable scene because Penelope was so confused I don’t remember if Callisto was there but it’s so cute that their son inherited the father’s clingyness to Penelope.
This is the happy ending Penelope deserves after all the shit she will go through from now in the manhwa. She deserves a happy ending with Callisto who loves her sincerely and doesn’t even care about her past, he is a patient, clingy and stubborn for Penelope.

If the author gave Kihu so much suffering like: being treated shit by both Dylan and Charlize, unintentional being blamed for something he didn’t even do, ignored and all his efforts and feelings to waste just for those two bastard ML and FL to be together then I don’t think the author would be that kind enough to give Kihu a happy ending. Kihu did not fucking deserve this. Not once he did anything wrong yet he suffered the most. Fucking Dylan and Charlize are gonna use Kihu as their stepping stone for their fucking happy ending. Basically the summary of this whole story.

I see more potential in Ruby is uno reversing the dad but it feels like Aqua is preventing that. I still got shivers when the stars in her eyes became dark and thought she has more manipulative side than Aqua. With the “happily ever after” line at the end, I think the author really wanted to create a present version of those fairy tales we used to read as kids. The ending is okay for me if that’s what the author’s goal.
If there’s an ending I really like, it’s the “The Villainess Reverses the Hourglasses” I’m happy that they created another new plot after the ML and FL got married. It shows that even if you marry the person you love, it’s not a total happy ending. Problems will never be cut off from the world even if you get a happy ending because your kids will also struggle in their own life.
I wish they make a side story for Max and Juvelian after their marriage and with their kids too but I doubt it. Still hopeful
