main couple was so poorly written. wasn't clear at all why they liked each other. the story seemed to paint alex in a bad light, but if anything he was respectful and honest about his boundaries and dg for some reason kept trampling all over those only to get rejected. no clue why, especially since all dg knew about him in the beginning was that he was hot.
dg in the first half felt a lot like those girls you know who keep going back to their douchebag bfs for no reason except alex wasn't even a douche since he was very clear they were not in a relationship and even made sure dg wasn't in love with him because he didn't want dg to get hurt (and dg...lied...then got upset with alex for not knowing his feelings even though he's the one...who lied...-_-)

But I don't think it needs a reason to like anyone. I liked someone for many years, and till now I still don't know the reason!!!
