I don't think a 10 year old would process it this way lol, but i think the right course of actions would have been to show her trauma, my gurl died to that Oberon in the first life, that should have been enough for her to faint or to have a seizure, and she should have been more fearful of everyone and everything while being stressed. She was 10 so i don't think she would conclude that they use her for her powers but she should still have doubts about their love for her, anw her development is too rushed
