They didnt even really properly talk about why hyesung left byul or what he had to go thru bc the mom left him. If the author was just gonna move past this quickly to focus on the kiss they shouldnt have brought it up in the first place it wouldve been better if it stayed how it ended in liai

The author just wants everyone to forget about Hyesung’s trauma bc she wants him to make up with his mom in the end. They can’t do that if we’re constantly reminded of how shit of a person she is. That’s why they keep downplaying it now and treating it like no big deal. They act as if Hyesung is just being unreasonably stubborn & that he will eventually get over it. They’re just hoping we forget how traumatic his past was so that we all fawn over how cute their reunion is when they eventually make up.
Fargo wants a sweet and wholesome story for Byul so she wants everyone to be happy but it misses the mark with Hyesung

I dont know about this one dropped after chapter 8, it started off with an interesting premise but idk if its the translation but theres alot of plot holes that come suddenly. They say in chapter one the first wife died but now shes suddenly alive and pregnant?? Lool and how did she even get accepted into the "prestigious" magic tower for geniuses if she seems to lack wit. The FL also seemed strong at first and doesnt seem like someone that wouldve been used like this by her husband for 3 years, even if it is to "fulfill her mothers wish", but at random moments she seems so weak. Also the sister felt so random too, it felt like she was added to give the FL power but she wasnt even mentioned in the first chapter with the whole mothers funeral and FL being forced to marry. Youd think someone as powerful as that would protect her sister before it got to this. Maybe i'll skim around to finish it but the pacing started bothering me
I regret starting this :(( just skimmed thru the novel because i couldnt wait for more and this just seems like heartbreak and a bitter ending. I hate love triangles but this is even worse than that. I was rooting for Amon but turns out he gets worse. There is no happy ending for any of the characters, just acceptance of their fate. This could have had the potential to be great but now im just sad for nain

Like I kinda wanted amon to finally learn and get a character arc growth and show how much he loves nain and stop the killings for his sake. And they have a lovey dovey happy ever after and gwen is just there as a friend but nahh its so much more depressing than a regular love triangle even if he does lowkey? End up with both
some webtoons tend to be different than their novel, let's hope they change it in the webtoon

Ok so basically gwen tries to kill amon, amon fights back and kills gwen. Theyre both fatally wounded and amon disappears, basically everyone disappears. Nain fully awakens as a god(?) And becomes truly immortal, something he despises and despairs over. He becomes extremely depressed and travels throughout the land in despair. A century passes(?) The kingdom has fallen into ruin and chaos, so they make offerings to bring back shah amon and nain. Amon finally returns to his position and disaster stops but the people are still afraid because nain is also needed as the other shah to balance the peace and to have empathy. Somehow gwen is also still alive and in his leshah position. He seeks out nain in his shapeshifter form, and finally is able to bring nain back to the throne. So in the end all three make peace and accept their fate in their respective positions. Gwen and nain are in love, and nain still has deep affection for amon but he does have an inner turmoil monologue of deeply hating amon, resenting him and wishing gwen successfully killed him. There are some happy-ish side stories with gwen and nain but amon is nowhere to be seen soooooo idk personally to me its a very bitter ending and i actually kind of hate it. I dont rlly like the 3p trope either, especially if it consists of lowkey cheating and not all parties loving each other. I was rooting so hard for amon to turn a new leaf but all that for nothing. I mean they do technically stop the human sacrifices and make pomegranate offerings to bring nain back but not rlly much character growth.
I might have missed some details tho and am not 100% sure on some of it because i did only skim the ending chapters but yea thats what i gathered
