is it just me or the emperor is kind of an idiot? when he felt the spirit’s power, he ask his son to keep quiet and then on the next day he issues a decree that spirit power has been detected (when everyone knows only imperial blood has it but 2 of them can only detect it). all of this while suspecting it is the consort who is trying to hide/harm his daughter. if he had keep things hidden, he could have plan better
