Phew, I’m glad it’s only those two who are traitors. I hope nymph hero become an ally soon.
Personally, I liked the ending. In the end, what she had for her previous family is unconditional love. She was full of empathy, so she didn't resort to the "normal" route of going "an eye for and eye" sort of revenge. She still held on to those good memories she had with her previous family. And although she was more than traumatized for what she had been through, it's like, she was given another lifeline by the god who made it possible for her to reincarnate, and made her born into a family that will help her heal. Ultimately, she was a very pure person, and her experience didn't extinguish that pureness and hope from her since she got to heal with the help of her current family.
I don't know. I'm blabbing and I know a lot of people, if not all, will disagree with me. But I'm also just tired of seeing the usual revenge route. I feel like this ending was apt given how Aisha's character was written.
It might be satisfying and cathartic for a lot of people to see all of the people who've done Aisha wrong suffer an equal, if not a worse fate. But in this story's case, given how they were all just brainwashed and manipulated (and yes, even, Mary/Marianne), they were all just victims. In the end, it made me feel empathy for the characters even more. It's heartbreaking that even until the end, they couldn't really make up for the suffering and pain they put Aisha through. They were all doomed the minute Selena had her grasp on Mary.
And, I'll stop here, since what's the point. The story has ended and Aisha gets to live with her current family who loves her as much as she loves them, if not more. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
