First, everyone's commenting on how weak the window is, or what materials were the cans made out of, and when He Tian's brother finna ride up into the school and fuck shit up.
BUT, I'm still questioning how fucking strong He Tian's hand was when he slapped the shit. What were you taught son? Anywho, I wondered why He Tian was so afraid, did he think it was a bomb like he'd been in this situation before?
And, I have a strange feeling that He Tian's family, which protects Jian Yi's family are the ones that fucked up Mo's life. I mean, what if He Cheng was there when Mo's family restaurant was literally being terrorized by the mobsters? Even though it isn't outright confirmed, we all can at least agree on the fact that Mo, He Tian, and Jian Yi are definitely connected through similar family backgrounds. I'm so hyped for the next chapter!
you're thinking what I'm thinking. It's even possible Jian Yi might even be He Tian's stepbrother (same father, different mother). After all, we haven't seen He Tian or Jian Yi's father since they're both affiiated with gangs.
The only one who isn't related to any of these guys outright is...Zheng Xi.
I have a weird feeling that Zheng Xi is mostly the main character of the story. Idk why, but he's the only one whose family doesn't have connections with Mo, He Tian, and Jian Yi's family so its like he's seeing things from a distance. His narration/pov in the story would be like that of Nick's from the Great Gatsby (not the main main character, but only observing things happening around him. It feels at times like Old Xian is trying to make you believe Jian Yi's the main character in all of this, but there are some occasions where we see more about what Zheng Xi is feeling than Jian Yi. I don't know, that's just my opinion and I feel like I'm over-analyzing. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
No, no, no, I absolutely believe in your over-analyzing! I find that an interesting fact as well. Zheng Xi is the only one with a seemingly normal life, but maybe we all have had the interpretation of the story wrong. I mean the synopsis of this story is, "A boy and his adventures with his best friend." or something to that effect. So, Zheng Xi could be the center of the story, just as much as Jian Yi, Mo, or He Tian could be.
