The second couple is interesting and cute but the way the author is organizing their scenes with the main couple's scenes is just...its confusing! Like storytelling wise its disruptive and out of flow with the plot thats happening with our main couple, its like a jumpscare or sm. I think people would appreciate the second couple more if their scenes didn't interrupt all the breakthroughs we get with the main ones.

I rlly like how you worded this and I completely agree, I would like to see the second couple and their development, but their chapter placements were awful. I think they either should have been introduced and started their progression earlier on in the story (but the author would still need to match their progression to an appropriate pace to fit with the main couple and not so that they completely disrupt each other) or they should’ve waited untill the main couples situation was in its resolution and we were seeing their progress (not like that sex heals everything shit we got). Or they could’ve not progressed the second couple at all untill the first story ended and then they could have been side stories or a spin off. There were literally so many different ways they could’ve done things so it wouldve turned out better. But I am reading their work illegaly so who am I to criticize ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I know a lot of different stories that will merely hint at the side couple progressing but will leave their story to be told at a more calculated pace (like at the end of the main couple or as side stories) depending on the type of work/plot/dynamic we're in. If author hinted at progression instead of dedicating whole chaps to them in the beginning, then finding an appropriate pace would've been much easier. You're right, there's better ways they could've done that, but it is what it is lolol and we ARE reading it illegally so im just thankful for the chance to read it. (￣∇￣")
You hinted on the main couples resolution and i just want to say it was kinda...half baked. There was so SO much buildup only to get a resolution that was a bit anticlimactic, I expected a bit more psychological fighting/sorting or even communicative problems between the two sides of Yura. And what about the communication between Yura and Jinsung regarding Jinsung's feelings throughout the whole situaton? Like Jinsung might seem fine for now but he went through alot of emotional stress because of Yura and they just?? Kiss and makeup? Idk... for such a buildup the resolution felt rushed...I wonder if the author feels a little burned out? :( (would like to hear ur thoughts if ur willing)
Yeah, ngl I did feel a bit of relief at the ending when he was like “yeah we combined because you fixed us” or whatever ONLY because the tension and angst felt like it lasted forever, but it was also really dissapointing and feels like an unfair representation of what people who actually have DID go through. As an author you have to try new things to make your works be interesting and different from others but when your using things like actual mental disorders to achieve that (even if it was just for diversity or representation) it should have been done correctly, but we also don’t know what they’re going through and like you said, they could be burnt out, they did take a few hiatuses (if im remembering correctly). I guess the whole the whole thing was like jinsung loving and accepting both of them is what allowed them to merge and for yura to finally be at peace with all of him, including his feelings for jinsung, but I think they both probably need therapy at this point. Who knows, maybe they will work through some of the finer details later now that everything has been resolved but that definitely was one hell of a way to cure DID.
