Apparently, MC and ML are actually inlove with each other and the FL is an asshole. And the 3 of them are regressors, I think the ML and MCs memories or only the MCs were erased or something? Can a novel reader clarify?

Its not like MC doesnt love ML in earlier stage. Its because ML keep on denying whenever MC try to confirm ML feelings & the fact ML keep on making things hard (miscommunication whatsnot in order to protect MC), causing MC to hate him more .
So thats why MC has a hard time trying to understand ML behavior & true feelings. And since ML keep on erasing his memory, that feeling of love kind of got erased everytime. And it starts all over again
