It worries me a lot to see so many comments acepting domestic violence. Not everything is black & white? That can be said for almost every type of violence, even wars.
I don't think people are accepting the domestic violence? It's more like since they know Kan-chan's perspective and what happened that led to all this, they're more understandable of why this violence started. Thus, they don't see him as a completely emotionless bastard but end up even pitying him too.
I get what your are saying.what Kan Chan did was pretty horrible and it's pathetic to do something like that to someone.he is an ass for that.but I think people here are have a soft spot for him because he wasn't purely evil .and he does regret what he have done.yeah that does not Justify what he did what he did was shameful and evil .but he understands that and is regrettable for that. That's why people don't hate him.if someone justify his act that's stupid what he did was wrong obviously but to forgive him and not hate him because of knowing the circumstances of him and what he has gone through and also knowing that he is regretful for what he did is not wrong :)
It is a recurrent topic in japanese mangas, how they equate girlfriend & wife with having an unpaid maid and chef. I didn't expect it from this writer, so disapointing.
That's still universal up to this day
