If you read this with both hands and make sure to read the dialogue you'll realize they're actually funny AF. Like it'll happen every few chapters where you get one text bubble of comic relief but you're too stressed the first few times you read this so you just go past it.
It's my 4th time reading the manhwa and 2 time reading the novel and lowkey why the author funny???
Back from bingeing the novel. Be prepared for quite a bit of suffering, quite a bit of codependency, mc is an achohlic and that causes quite problems, overall author did good foreshadowing. No idea how the manhwa is going to play out but the novel was a little bit more suffering than fluff and sex for my tastes. SPOILER: MC does a great job with the plot, does not do a great job in actually succeeding in school. So sort of strong MC but at the end of the novel bro is more of a mobwife and still hasn't graduated which was something I was rooting for him :/. Loved it enough to read 200 plus chapters not enough to reread like 3 times. Looking forward to the rest of the manhwa with y'all
I guess someone advertised this to the wrong crowd or something but as due diligence dead dove do not eat. If you choose to read give your rating and then go. No duh there's sucky stuff, red flags, and a shitty unredeemable, that's the genre. If school life, green flags, and cute romances are more of your things there is the school life filter on this website and you can cross out genres that you don't like.

I think the female lead was written alright, I'm okay with the ones that are more plot driver and not traditional strong/ magic powers stuff. HOWEVER, rereading I think the problem is with the ML. The author writes him as a man fitting of this time period and uses sex/kisses/looks to distract us. The switch in personality happening though the beginning of the pregnancy is typical man. And regardless of how enemies to lovers they are, because of his position as her husband, you, the reader have to survive through his controllingness ( as a typical man) as well. I think because they are enemies at the start I have an unscratched itch to see him suffer more (physically) and be controlled against his will.
