I love that she is becoming more and more evil as the story goes. It is rare to find very well written, greedy for power and smart villains nowadays. Usually, when something bad happened to the villains, we can already see their downfall but HER is a no no. She still thrive to be powerful no matter how messed up her plans has gotten.
Ya but isn’t she a little too greedy? First she pestered the emperor about making her son the crown prince. Then there is the time she sweet talks him so she can ransack the guild. Now she is using poison just to get power so she can do whatever she wants?
I believe it aligns perfectly with the human nature. No matter what kind of human you might be at the beginning, the more you get, the faster you get used to it, therefore the greedier you get. That also makes you more scared of losing the things you got so used to, so the bigger the thing is, the more you'll do to have it remain in your grasp. Which is why I adore the way she is written. Trully a perfect villain in my eyes. (☆▽☆)
I liked this story a lot. I have been rereading it for years now. However this made me realize something. if I, myself discovered that my husband to be knew that someone is hurting my mother until it leads to her death and did nothing about it. I would despised him as well. Ofc he probably had his restrictions on the matter but he did nothing about it.
Though I would still fulfilled my duty as a wife and will tolerate the idea of marrying him(if I married him). However, I will not whisper words of love or show any interest in him at all.
Overall, this is not the best story I have read but it is not the worst. haha...

I don't quite like this story. Probably because of the bad translation but it is somehow barrable. The art is not that bad but why does she always wear that green nightgown? Also, I just don't understand their conversations most of the time. Hmm...

I like it. I thought I might drop this when the og fl appears but it is unexpectedly not that bad. It is unique. Not like any other father daughter story. I really love the moments Varia/Baria with the duke. It makes me giggle and feel the butterflies in my stomach. Some might not like the fact that the father have a love interest. But hey, the plot is there, the art is nice and the romance does not bring harm to our Leo(mc). I don't see anything wrong about it.
However it's not everyone's cup of tea. So, I understand your reasoning for dropping it.
