Realizing the beauty and genius of this manga too.. just the initial parallels between fully knowing and understanding someone through physical appearance vs internal self, I love the way this is explored and how the layers of each of them are slowly peeled.
Like neither of them expect anything out of the other given their experience (even more traumatic for saya) and the absolute dopamine hit of seeing their surprise when they realize that they can and that they do understand each other and love each other. TT

You know what I’m rereading this and it’s actually kinda peak.. the layers are good.. the angst.. jumping to the first half of the story reads a lot differently after learning more about their past. I rly like the way that they’re attracted to each other (from before they knew who the other were to after)
I think I had higher hopes for this, the premise is interesting, but not the most well executed. The characters feel pretty one dimensional, I don’t think the internal or external dialogues are substantial or context driven enough. I think the author tries to make up for that by using crazy scenes and separations, but it still fell flat for me overall.

Just WHY WHY
WHY. It makes no sense. Just a deep gut feeling of disappointment. There were no other plot points that could’ve been utilized? Why did it go there.. what sort of twisted redemption arc are you looking to pull? It won’t be any more believable than anything else in this story. For the type of manhwa you seemed to want to be, there are lines to not cross. All this for 2 1/2 panels. It’s not that serious but it’s just sad.
