I'm just upset how she (penelope) just let them go on, be nice to her like what they did never actually happened.
Because if i were her i would literally ask on why they are being kind to me And Momentarily point out what they did in the past

The reason she doesn't bother to care when they started being nice is because it's similar to her actual life. She didn't care to be close with her own half brothers so being close to the step brothers in this game she's living is no different to her so since they are similar to her half brothers she treats them how she sees their personalities so that she can avoid the 0% and can survive till the end.
She only cares to keep their "affection" level decent so she puts up with their change in character even if she doesn't care to play nice with them, but she has to on some level. She's invested more time in the ones she cares to see a 100% level to reach a happy ending to escape the game.
Well you should understand that she knows what will happen if she no one gets 100 percent before the real daughter returns. She will be dead and its game over for the her just like jn the game coz the hard mode ends on her debut party when the actual main character aka the real daughter come back. And other than that is that its not her real family at all. She knows that she is in a game and the she'll die if she doesn't win the game

I feel like the twins suffered enough especially with the abusive mom. It’s understandable in this kidnapping situation if they sustain injuries but overall I don’t think they did anything to deserve suffering.
