i was so set on never forgiving seonwoo for what he did to sihyeon (and i still kinda havent bcs even tho hes getting a taste of his own medicine he hasnt realized what hes done wrong to sihyeon) but goddamn seonwoo is such a complex character that i cant help but sympathize with his twisted way of thinking. its so tragic to think that he genuinely loved sihyeon but couldnt recognize it because of the fucked up way he perceives love.

Tbh I didn't even understand what happend between them. Like Seonwoo just said he played with him, but they werent even together? And why did Sihyeon ended up with Baekyung? I read it like a year ago, so I don't remember much but that part never make sense for me.
lol they were dating and he even outed Sihyeon to the HS bullies and then he gaslight him when he came over after him and Baekryung had a falling out! He knew the misunderstanding and how it came to be but he instead fanned the flames of distrust between them! That’s seriously not okay lol

The person Baekryung was fighting was one of the bullies Seonwoo outed Sihyeon too.. the bully wanted to get back at Seonwoo flaunting his status and money around so he misunderstood the situation and thought Baekryung had evil intentions.. he didn’t even agree to the bet he just couldn’t believe Shiyeon would choose someone else over him.. again Seonwoo fanned the flames and portrayed him as a homophobic asshole when in reality he was shocked Seonwoo would say all these things about someone he “liked”
Again playing mind games on people because of the turbulence that erupted in his early childhood.. he knows it’s bad too and he still does it because he’s trying to “protect himself” he’s SHIT
Which makes Baekyung even worse than Seonwoo in my eyes. Sure Seonwoo is an asshole no doubt, but Baekyung who is supposed to be a the good choice is a creep and manipulative stalker with angry issues. I wish SiHyeon didn't ended up with any of them

He became an angry person bc of his overwhelming feelings to Sihyeon.. he couldn’t force him to not hang out with Seonwoo.. he never screwed other peoples’ lives over. He just was a mad boy in love that was fiddled by Seonwoo because Seonwoo saw them together (flashback in s2) and got jealous and then proceeded to ruin their relationship and cause them to be hurt and fragmented..
Seonwoo even got a random NPC character to quit school after he stole their test essay and sold it to the highest bidder
Of course not excusing Baekryung’s actions regarding the phone and the following of Sihyeon but it’s not as inexcusable as Seonwoo because clearly the author intended to portray one injustice over the other..
And he got his lashings and retribution by Sihyeon ghosting him (which was again caused by Seonwoo spinning tales )
