Btw i just love how this manhwa didn’t lose it’s track and doesn’t have a lot of useless side lil stories like a LOT of manhwas have been doing lately, this is one of the few that keeps up with the good art and story. Kudos for the author and artist

Honestly, this manhwa was one of my favorites in the beginning. It had so much potential but now it feels like there’s only side quests. 75 chapters and no romance, nothing actually meaningful for the plot like her brother, the og fl or anything.
I liked how different this story was but after so much time i actually miss some clichés here

What plot. I see no plot in sight, she's gone over the horizon.
I'm not at all saying you're wrong, and the gambling side plot bored me to absolute tears, but I love this setting and these characters SO much that I don't even care. It just feels like playing Skyrim to me. I had two copies (hubby and I fought over who could play when and we had two tvs and Playstation 3's soooo...) and hundreds of hours of/on that game, and I still never beat the storyline lol. Sometimes I love a world so much, I can't help but revel in everything it has to offer.
Doing side quests until you've outscaled the end game and now the main quest has become the side one.

I read the novel I think last year. The main plot hasn't even started in the manhwa, unfortunately. It's getting closer. Once Isidore realizes how he feels about Deborah, things start moving along faster. If I remember well, that's soon before the main plot starts.

Ok I had to pull up the novel to figure out where we are rn. Here are some stats:
Toal number of chapters: Around 200
Ch 84: Where Debora makes the deal with Thierry regarding helping them with funds in exchange for the egg. That's a little before where the manhwa is right now.
Ch 109: That's where I would say things start getting interesting and moving towards starting the main plot. Also in that chapter, Isidore starts realizing that his interest in Deborah may be more than platonic.
Sooooo the manhwa isn't even halfway through the story. And it'll likely be another 10-20 manhwa chapters before things start getting good and the plot starts taking shape.
Most people are going to groan and/or sigh at this news... I'm ECSTATIC!!!!

Before he knew her actual identity, they had several arguments where ML received a marriage proposal (i think) from another nation. So he got pressured by the ministers to accept it. But he went against it of course. He didnt want anyone except FL. The funny thing is, lol, he is veryyyy jellyyy and possessive towards her at some point he got angry she met up with ogFL's lover (she actually didnt know he felt that way), so he challenged that lover guy for a duel so the next time that guy didnt approach her again, he ended up beating that guy (hard frr), so about the angst, he actually hold it for a long time and 'accidentally' hurt FL with his words including mentioning about the marriage proposal, he asked whether she cares or not. Theres more but my brain js kinda fovgy, one thing for sure, she felt absolutely hurts by his words and didnt even face him at all. Weeks ig and he tried to meet her several times to apologize, but she didnt answer. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
