Especially since Ygg is centuries old. If he was going to find someone his age, his dating pool is too small
HOWEVER
I adored the father-daughter dynamic they had at the beginning. So finding out that Ygg would be the ML.... just doesn't sit right with me. Not gonna lie, this one blindsided me.
If maybe he was presented as this naive immortal who doesn't understand age, or from the beginning the FL was all "When I grow up, I will marry Ygg", I would have seen it coming and then I wouldn't care.
Man this started out really really nicely, but when the author decided to add harem, the quality just declined and declined and now it just sucks outright.
Before anyone comes for me, I like seeing women in adventure stories, but the author dumbs them down so much or just makes them nothing but objects of desire and that's all they are. They are useless in the overall story, and they have the personality of white bread, plain and uninteresting. The moment they met the main character, they are incapable of talking about anything that doesn't involve him. I thought Sophia, AT LEAST, would have been more complex, but she became just another needy character who is more trouble than she is worth. She has so many skills, and her journey could have had so many paths to choose from, but in the end she was just another pu$$y for the male characters to fu**
Josh could clock you in 0.5 seconds with time to spare. You think these pipsqueaks could do anything to him
I love the concept of severely overpowered characters.
But I hate badly written characters more. I have a special hatred for Lilia, but none of the other characters were really likeable. If they were killed in the story, I wouldn't even remember it in the next chapter.
So while I like the concept and read all available chapters, this isn't going to my reading list, and honestly by tomorrow I would have already forgetten this manga exists.
Lilia is a character that's so easy to hate, absolutely effortless
I hope she dies.
