Now that I know the ending after casually keeping up with this story throughout its run, I’m glad that I never read it in full. The main character has been through so much and to make THAT his ending is hilariously diabolical and equivalent to stockholm syndrome. I guess the moral of the story is that despite hating yourself and letting someone make your life hell because they hate themselve’s, you can always give in to the madness because that’s all you know! Screw growth and healing, just be where you’re most comfortable

I saw on Twitter that someone said ppl are saying that this release was underwhelming and honestly…I agree! We waited all this time for this?! Mingwa could’ve transitioned into Jaekyung’s backstory a lot better than this! Like seriously! No conversation after that hug? No deep introspection from Dan or JK about that moment!? Just nothing but that old ass man taking up majority of the chapters and zero dialogue between JK and Dan! I feel like the terrible behavior of JK in season 1 was incredibly unnecessary if this is how shallow, boring and meaningless it’s all going to play out. Overall, great art but terrible fucking writing. Mingwa should be embarrassed and so am I for anticipating something different after this pointless ass hiatus

I believe some people didn't get that this wasnt an "end of season comeback" but rather an unplanned break due to health reasons, which is why theres no big plot twist or whatever but a continuation of the story

I felt like all the bad stuff that we had to endure during S1 would’ve been made up for in S2 but the author is clearly playing in our faces!
