I started reading this out of morbid curiosity. To see if MC survives in the end. But the more you read, the more invested you become.
This was messed up and painful but interesting in its own way. Not sure I’d call this a happy ending. More like these are the ongoing life circumstances of flawed and or traumatized characters. What we get are glimpses into different periods of their lives. I feel like these three will be intertwined with each other for the rest of their lives, one way or another.
The abusive bully seme got so much grace even though he didn’t deserve it. He didn’t change. Not sure he ever will. Punching your partner for refusing sex is crazy. Honestly idk what the uke and Tomori see in him.
Tomori was also flawed imo, but not as bad as the other two. Plus she played so many roles in their lives. She was their entire support system. Their mother, friend, lover, therapist. She shed tears for them. Like damn. How is she not tired.

ML’s fiancé pmo. Him and his lover are CLOWN CITY BRO. Acting as though MC was talking to royalty lmao FUCK OUTTA HERE. TRASH. I had more empathy for them before they opened their mouths.
I like MC. He's one of the only MCs I've ever seen who took the money instead of being stupidly prideful about it.
This was wayyy more heartfelt than I expected. I thought it’d be the usual toxic fuckfest. It's not. Even though we do go through sex marathons every now and again, it never feels like a drag. All the sex scenes are quite emotionally loaded, not just braindead lust.
Ch65-66: made me very emotional. I teared up a bit. The thought that "nothing could come between them after this" crossed my mind. It feels like the trust between the first/ main couple is solid, despite whatever insecurities they may have. The side story just confirmed it for me. I'm at peace. This is such a good read.
Overall, at least insofar as the first couple is concerned, this was a deep story about self-aware, emotionally intelligent and emotionally available (or at least open, at first) individuals. Looking back I think both MC and ML longed for love. That’s one of the reasons they clicked so well, though they never mention that in the story. So maybe it’s just my subjective perception.
About the second couple: ML (Gitae) here has the personality of a meek whisper lmao. He only starts showing teeth when Jinwoo (MC's legal brother/ ex) enters his life. About side story 2: WTF. Without spoiling it, what a weak ass bitch are you Gitae, what the FUCK are you doing?? They figured it out in the end, but I think it was just so stupid and kinda messy. Even if he wasn’t sure whether Jinwoo and himself were dating or not. Where did your (puny but still there) character development go man??
The side stories were more stressful than I expected.
Anyway, happy ending for both couples. Awesome story overall. Loved the art and almost all the characters. It can get emotionally weighty at times, so it’s not a SUPER casual read I'd say. But it’s not toxic AT ALL and there’s no stupid drama (not really). No prolonged miscomm. No SA/ dubcon (except for Jinwoo feeling up MC while the latter was passed out drunk tf). No cheating. Like I mentioned before just mature people dating.
Can't wait for next season lmao. It's gonna be fun. The twin will get humbled and exposed for the first time in his life. I'm glad the season ended with confirmation that ML knows everything (more or less).
No spoilers here I just need to say I feel so bad for Minwoo omfg!!!! I feel so hurt for him, fuck!

And the tags lie if any new reader is curious. This is shounen ai pretty much. Or at least it’s a slow burn. In 64 chapters they’ve only kissed, and ML jerked off by himself a few times. That’s it. Atp after seeing him being so physically repulsed by MC and then lovebombing him, it feels like ML has asexual romantic feelings towards him, at best, which is ok but maybe not for everyone. I don’t mind it. Especially given my opinion of ML. Edit: never mind. First sex scene is at chap70. The story ends at 72…
