I love this manga & how it tackles social issues which women in highly patriarchal and orthodox countries face. Even on social media there's a reflection of it, instances of which were quite realistically portrayed like 'why does everything have to revolve around men?'.
Now coming to the part that made me go ehhh which was their Indian dinner party, I wish they could've researched more like lassi was a disaster and they mixed cooking technique of roti with naan (although it was by far the best representation since it involved variety of dishes).

I'm writing this because I saw this discourse on X on the ultimate scene which led to Miwa and Tamaki's breakup which is so traumatizing and complex. I don't know what to call that scene, SA (for both the parties) or something beyond that.
They had a great start. Then we get to know that Tamaki has a very low libido and might just not like sex at all, she leans towards asexuality. Sex is a sort of pressure to her imposed by the society. She can have meaningless sex for the happiness of her partner even if she might not have wanted it at all.
On the other hand Miwa is somewhat insecure or needs to feel sense of security from every action of her partner. She needs that extreme care. Sex is the highest form of closeness she demands. She's not a pervert but someone who just has a different love language than Tamaki. Tamaki's 'I will do it if my partner wants it's attitude triggered her insecurity. It also resulted in neglect of Miwa's needs. Since her sense of self is also linked to her partner's opinions she took Tamaki's disgust towards sex implying her disgust towards her high libido.
Both of them hit low when Miwa tries to repress her urges which ofcourse will make Tamaki anxious. They try to find a way to love each other which makes the other feel whole but leaves them incomplete and resentful. All of this finally erupts in the penultimate scene where Tamaki has an outburst. From my pov I see this scene as an SA to both Tamaki and Miwa since none of them want it to happen. Miwa took her crude words as an abuse to her liking for sex. Both as a result of that SA and her own mind going to survival mode she starts to feel repulsed to her own urges.
Tamaki gets an instant regret but she does not want to breakup. Miwa has consciously stopped trying for their relationship hence the breakup was a revival for her. To keep it brief, their breakup convo was just hurt equals hurt.
Ofcourse it does feel weird when Miwa reconnects with Tamaki, she chose to forgive her and that's her decision. Tamaki got karma, she remains in regret and longing for Miwa.

This also does not mean that we should treat all the characters either like some saint or the worst person on earth.

(This whole thing cannot be equated to the FWB situation which happened to Miwa Saeko when Miwa was depressed over rejection. Yes it was a toxic situation but you cannot compare the destruction.)

Sorry forgot to tick the spoiler box

hey I love ur analysis! but I just wanna clarify as an ace person that having a low libido doesn't equate to being asexual. from what I interpret from her inner thoughts about sex and her intentions with it I'd say she's probably just a character with a low sex drive? nowadays there are lots of microlabels for people who sees being ace a spectrum but personally I like to keep it simple and say she's probably closer to an allo person with a low sex drive

thats how I see it anyways

Yeah you're right, I just mentioned the possibility of it and it did not stem from her disgust towards sex or anything (which obviously is imposed by the societal stigma and her own personal experience) rather inclining towards the idea of her being in a space isolated from the stigma and how would she have then formed her relationship with romance and sex which could be anything, does not depend on anyone's view.

I remember leaving it at chap 29 or something because I was in that phase of my life where all angsty things triggered me and now I have finally binge read it.
Apart from the nuanced characterization, I think one of the great things about this manga is that almost all the characters have their own social circles beyond the sphere of college which is something very hard to find in most of the Yuri mangas (I only read Yuri so can't tell about other genres).
The other great thing is that there are so many issues and situations highlighted here which one cannot see in the black, white or grey lens. Even in all their breakup arcs there's no one sided thing, they made mistakes and they had their differences too. In Tamaki and Miwa's breakup situation if you read about Miwa's trauma isolating from what led to all of it, you might put all the blame on Tamaki (ofc she hurt Miwa). In the entirety of their relationship, they had their happy moments and they genuinely wanted to make it work but their differences made it frustrating and wore them off to the point that they hurt each other.

On the other hand there is Saeko's relationship with Yuria which was an experience she needed in her life and even Yuria as a person. At some point I started rooting for them too be the endgame.

I also liked that part when juniors around Miwa were like 'you are a dating expert since you've been with girls' but she did not take it negatively instead gave the benefit of doubt that not all of them have to have mean intentions. It gives both the cases of how not everyone is exposed to everything and may not know the right thing to say despite having good intentions & if you keep letting every other person's words hurt you, it will become difficult to live the way you want.

There are so many scenes which I like but cannot elaborate otherwise this site will crash :^)

I do love them having intimate moments but even if they are physically so close, emotionally the wall separates them. I do hope that they clear things out during or after sex and don't use it as a coping mechanism.
Although if it does push too far without communication, I'll have to be on blue Yuri commentors' side this time which is quite annoying T_T
Also, I don't want to see the details since it'd be so weird as a reader to watch their vulnerable teenage self growing, becoming a couple and then seeing their adult selves having sex. I prefer being a respectful shipper

We love almost- girlfriends who communicate but Su Gui please don't fall asleep while Lu Yang has gathered courage for this confession

Even though it's Yuri smut with all the characters being perverts why is it so enjoyable? I want to look inside our author's part funny part perverted brain which creates such MSG infused manhwa!

I also want to know whether the he/ him translation for Zermen and Theo is mistranslation or is it like them being he/ him lesbians?

(Also, referring to the previous chapters it's one of the few times where one of the characters suddenly growing a dick does not make the scene repulsive to me.)

I like this fight since I can finally get to see the usually cold Su pursuing Tang Ran and make some real effort to cater to the delicate heart of our girl. Also, my babies Lin Song and little Sheng ARE SO FUCKING CUTE.

moonbyuls nose muscles December 16, 2025 5:56 am

So all this time Zermen had/ has a thing for Raja's mom (☉。☉)!

I don't understand the point of creating this sudden love triangle with boss, could have been better if it was a different kind of conflict challenging Lu Yang's role in their relationship although Su Gui being vulnerable infront of her should give the signal that she's always considered them as equals ever since she gave her the chance.

Honestly I'm so done with this audience who have to yeet off to blue Yuri even at the slightest inconvenience Mitsuki and Aya face. Ofc, life's gonna be different from highschool. Yes, at some point it makes sense to entertain the idea of blue Yuri but yall acting up everytime as if you don't think you deserve a Yuri where characters face the real hurdles of life when transitioning from highschool to college.
Mitsuki's always had high walls when it comes to sharing her true self with people after being judged since young so we cannot expect her to just open up to a bunch of people who are rn the trigger to her losing her green.

    PocariAlice December 7, 2025 6:53 pm

literally, PLEASE shut up about blue Yuri it has and still is green for one, and this arc is another miscommunication arc, but just grown up. I swear no one reads the chapters, they just see slightly less green and start crashing out

    loveli December 8, 2025 1:23 pm

rightttt like god forbid the characters actually go through challenges in life and some low points, obviously their life is going to be incredibly different to how it was in high school
