From the start we have always associated that bada and the others are trapped in a game and yes that is the way they are making it seems like it, with the hints, clues and all the collected endings but what if it was actually not, hear me out...there have been multiple theories about bada being the game developer/creator and that he somehow got trapped with the others but lost his memory due to some technical error of the game or that bada is the only real person and doha and the others being the npc since the other npc said something along the line of bada being "different". But what if they're all real people who are stuck in that time loop because of some curse that one of the carried, we have never seen the backstory of bada or anyone so my theory is that the killer is badas father, since the note suggest that the village conduct some sort of sacrificial rituals and they were trying to make a very young bada as the next sacrifice, the father(killer) couldn't take it and killed all the people in the village as a result he was cursed to kill and to be killed for all of eternity and in order to uncover the truth about his(bada) past, they went back to the village/lodge as a vacation and bam they're also stuck in the loop and bc of the consistent repetition of the time they gradually forget everything about themselves and all those clues/hints/endings are a way for them to break the curse, set the father free and set themselves free from the nightmare. But idk #－.－)
