Basically she doesn't exist on paper and no one realizes she is actually the royal couples daughter. Spies from another kingdom planned to raise her til she was big enough to smuggle out of the country.
Her attending doctor was killed after delivering her, she was kept hidden and raised in secret inside the palace, she swapped clothing with her twin brother when she went out to meet the royal couple, and she was kept drugged so her own memories of that time are hazy.
Honestly at this point if the twin princes nurse maid doesn't come forward and tell everyone that the twin princess was abducted, then no one including the MC will ever know the truth and the Spies inside the kingdom will get the chance to try again.
