Regardless of what I say, it's still probably seen as grooming. However, it doesn't seem all that at all, cause basically the duke grew up in a probably strict household, considering how his father killed his fubu(?) or whatever they are. It may have actually be the first time for him to feel affection towards someone else, not lusting over the child but rather a familial love instead. It's better to see it this way though since both are different timeline and considering how things didn't change in the future It's all good.
In overall, it was a good read. Quite refreshing actually, I haven't seen much pairings like that. (But I don't tolerate such acts like grooming. I just try to see things in much deeper perspective than thinking that the whole thing was just straight up grooming Alois. ╮(￣▽￣)╭)
