it's so good!!! but i got here too early. anyway i'll be back when there are at least 100 chapters (rn only 66). argghh i really like the plot, hopefully it won't take too long

i honestly don't even know what i was reading. i wanted to drop it when the MC kept getting sa'd over and over, but i chose to continue bcs i wanted to see his power... but every time i hit next chapter i felt my iq dropping with it.

i thought we were gonna see strass??? his brother??? like what was that??? we don't even know who murdered him bcs the MC isn't even sure, it feels like people were plotting to make it look like his brother did it. i really wanted to know his brother's reaction when he finds out about the MC... isn't he described as kinda crazy? is that a side effect or something else?

idk, i can't even feel the love between the MC and ML. there are too many plot holes and it makes it even worse bcs i still remember what the ML did to the MC in the beginning.

maybe i missed something, but how old is ray? it feels like he's not that much different in age from the crown prince, which means the ML is literally a pedo...

and don't even get me started on the ending, i gotta say it was rushed like a bullet train. i'm still wondering why they built such a good foundation only to not use it? did the author just get tired of the story? such a waste of good art honestly.

and that's not even all of it, there are still so many other things i could question. but at the end of the day i'm not even gonna care about it anymore.

i read the comment section and people said it was based on a novel, but they skipped so much that you can't even compare them anymore. that's sad, but i'm definitely not gonna read the novel bcs even if it's good (idk i didn't research it), this manhwa already traumatized me.

i remember reading the novel and it was so satisfying when kloff realized that none of the love and affection he gave to aeroc t3 will ever be felt by aeroc t1 bcs it's a different soul. like there's literally no redemption for you when you'll never meet aeroc t1's soul again

i reread it bcs i forgot which chapter i left off at. but why even by chapter 105 she still doesn't know that isidore is the guild master? somehow the story is getting boring to me. it's like the author keeps running in circles with the plot, but i've already read this far so i need to know the ending. will marinate this one until it ends.

somehow i found the novel and read it, but i only realized there's a manhua version when i was reading the side story (when jing shao adopted his nephew as his son)... it suddenly popped into my head that i had seen/read a scene with a child up in a tree and his uncle (jing shao) watching him.

anyway i loved it!! i hope i'll love the manhua version too.

but one thing i wanna point out is why wasn't there any further development about jing chen's wife? i know she was always suspicious of jing shao and jun qing, but without any further closure, it feels like she was just intentionally killed off so the story could move forward with jing chen taking a male empress. honestly, that didn't really sit right with me.

anyway, time to reread this manhua!!

honestly, the plot of the story isn't that superb. i saw a spoiler that it'll only have 31 chapters, and i don't think that's enough to resolve all the plot holes they have, but anyway i like how the author builds their bond.

i'm kinda tired of reading stories where the author intentionally introduces so many characters, having them kiss and even have seggs, only to end up with just one person. it's like they already have a fav character but want to spice up the plot, so here comes a poly tease that will never happen.

there are so many things i could say about this story.

at first i liked the plot, but somehow chapter after chapter it got boring for me.

maybe they will talk about it in the next chapter. i know taewon did those things so that yunseong would hate him and leave him, but i didn't expect that problem to just seem gone? or should i say buried? and the way the MC still blushes around taewon makes it seem like he forgot about it. he still likes him, right? even though his internal monologue makes it seem like he doesn't want anything to do with love or just wants to forget taewon.

a lot of people say, 'oh my gosh i'm rooting for taewon bcs in 10 lives, he loved yunseong.' 10 lives? so what? i've never liked the crematorium trope, bcs in the end the MC will just get back together with the ML or the person who hurt him. let me say it, i know he did it for the MC, but at what cost? i hate when the ML chooses to stay silent and chooses the hardest way to push the MC away. like, in 10 years, didn't you gain any power? it seems like a joke to me when taewon calls someone out and mentions all the bad things those people did, and when they ask 'why didn't you say it earlier?', he answers something like those people would try to hurt yunseong. well, they did it anyway even though he chose to submit to them!

i kept reading it bcs i liked the story and it felt like a waste to drop it since the plot concept was good. i still read it even though i knew taewon was the ML, but still, up to ch 67, i haven't seen anything that makes him worthy of being the ML. i genuinely hoped that the MC would stand on his own, but yeah, that didn't happen even though when he first came back, he said so himself. but anyway, if yunseong must end up with someone, i think the only way out is poly.
