ok so i know this is not manga related but i just starting playing genshin impact and i have no clue how to use artifacts. can someone tell me what to do with them cuz i don’t know what ones to put on the characters i use

Hi! It actually takes time for you to fully understand it so nws but you have to know about the character and what artifacts suits them,idk how to explain but I suggest You to watch YouTube genshin impact artifacts for beginners to understand more and please do know that you will get better drops when you reach higher adventure rank so don’t rush. I fully understand how artifacts works at ar 40+, a bit late but okay (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I don't play genshin anymore but good artifacts on characters makes a lot of difference. Their main use can vary from giving more CRIT DMG (or crit rate) , HP, DEF, Healing bonus, etc... depending on which main stat it has.
For example, Gladiator's (4 set) is good for physical dmg so for someone like Kaeya, a 4 piece set is perfect for him. You can find tons of guides for each character on YT or on genshin related websites.
I personally recommend you to start farming for artifacts after AR 40 or 45 and save as much as free resin as you can because getting good artifacts with good substats is really hard T-T
my biggest mistake was using my fragile when i was in ar 35-40
