I'm really surprised to see all the negative and bad comments about Lyrica's mother but nothing about that fucker of a biological father
I'm not justifying her action, she did abuse her child but the thing is that she was in a hard place, she never knew love, she married young believing it was true love, got abused by her husband and then had Lyrica.
Let's not forget the huge debt the asshole left behind, Lyrica was still a new born when everything went south, imagine all the hardship she went through before going alcoholic.
I'm still not justifying her action but it makes me angry that everytime it's the mother's shortcomings that people judge and never that big crap of a father.
The good part is that she's learning how to be a better mother, she's not perfect and she's clumsy, but she's trying, and I'm really happy for our sweet Lyli cause she's finally receiving the love of her mother.
All that to say, my fellow readers, is the true evil piece of shit here is the father, so let's hate him as much as he deserves and more
The way the MC is represented is quite disappointing tbh, everybody has this unique design and style, and here he is with his bland everything, I find the two gothic/punk workers to be far more interesting than the main characters I'm sorry nonetheless the story is interesting and I'll keep reading ╮(￣▽￣)╭

The reason is actually sad : he wears plain stuff to blend in, to not stand out. Because he had to stop pursuing art, he is kind of putting restraints on himself, hence why he is wearing striped shirt. They are not too basic like a plain tshirt, but the design is not too outstanding either. In a way, the stripes reminds me of a prison he is locking himself into
i think its intentional. its also why mc looks too them as inspirational. they are living as their full selves and he isnt
