I agree. I would have hated it more if he was the official villain or something and only hurt people for pleasure (like Wookyung) but he literally only does things to get violently punished for them. He's a perpetual victim and when he's not, he's in the process of being one. He's not malicious and is seen as harmless/poor/weak by both Wookyung and Duna but somehow his recent actions are quite extreme, and of course it's a setup to make him suffer for it. And he always suffers wayy more than is necessary. If we're letting Wookyung get away with it, why not Minho? Minho has had more reason to do the things he does wrong. Which doesn't make it right, but atleast you understand where he's coming from.

that's a weird take when its not at all out of character for minho to behave like that? he also was prepared to beat up wookyung back in college when he saw wk hanging around doona. the difference is wookyung can kick his ass and almost tossed him off a roof. but haesol cannot so haesol got Bodied. (and ofc haesol was also trying to provoke a response from minho cause of his own jealousy, its not like minho went nuclear out of nowhere) the author doesnt need to make anyone dislike minho to write him however she wants cause he's her creation (not a real person. so many of yall keep talking about him like he's a real person she's got locked in her basement or something...)

i don't have an issue with anything out of that. i just hate that he was sexually abused and something as dark and life ruining as that is being wrongly portrayed.

the author barely glossed over the trauma and realism of it and keeps writing his character to manipulate the readers to think that he deserves it.

Doona is a sexual abuser and predator. And the author favours her over someone who's character is a victim of poverty, discrimination and abuse. he isn't blameless either but the author should not misrepresent rape victims and downplay abuse like she has.

its not even a matter of the author writing it however she wants because its her creation, its disrespectful to those who deal with trauma of these things. It goes beyond just being shitty writing.
