And honestly it really depends on person ig, some read it because it's a "talk in the town", as if it's some kind of trend, some read it because they genuinely invest in the story and is sure JK will have that character development sooner or later, some just read it uh maybe for research- and guilty pleasure ?? also, it can depends on mood and preference too, me personally, for example, when I crave something messed up to read, I search harada sensei's work or when I simply in the mood of smth cute, I'd searched for fluff and be like "ew people read those ?" To any messed up story i see

Yeah I think most of them are just blindly simping for Jaekyung's looks. And I guess some people like the "chasing arc"? Or they just wanna see how far Jaekyung will fuck up lol but personally I'd rather not waste my time like that

Tbh one of the reasons I’m still reading it is because I want to know what happens and how it gets resolved. As a writer, I like to see how other authors solve their story conflicts so that it can help with writing my own stories too. Reading both good and bad stories can help gauge what readers like and don’t like in stories.
