Historical setting. Magistrate x general or marshall. Bottom is an ugly 40yrs old who wants to kill himself because he has no one by his side. Top is a general who has a sickly pretty yifu who he loved but doesn't like him back and uses him. Bottom goes to another county and finds a club for gays, there he finds a penpal through dick drawings.
This novel also has a lot of detailed smex scenes
