It's not necessary to play re 7 to enjoy re 8. Since re 8 does have it's own lore and story and is more or less connected to re 7 but it isn't a huge lore revelation per se (but to the mc, yes it's kinda huge oof). An enjoyable game definitely. I think even a new player who has no knowledge of the lore would still enjoy it but would leave them conf...... reply
