the manga and anime are pretty good. even though the anime doesn’t follow the manga in some parts they’re both interesting. i wish this manga was talked about more.
hmm...i can’t tell you how much i enjoyed watching/reading this manga. i would spend hours and hours watching and reading it. although sakuragi seems like he’s an amateur at basketball, it’s proof that anything is possible. even if this manga is fiction. it teaches you a lesson to never give up and help your teammates even if your life is at risk. well besides that the characters in this series are such good characters. they have good potential to the basketball team. even though it seems as if the members of shohoku don’t get along, they make a fine team in the end. that just shows you that you should always use teamwork in tough situations. what i think about the ending sorta makes me happy, because even though sakuragi is injured he could eventually play basketball again.
well...i wish there was more to the ending. like whether sakuragi could play again. or whether he would remember all the stuff he learned throughout the 4 months of playing.
my...i loved watching the anime. well there are definitely some annoying characters and scenes buttttt it gets better in the end. if you’re thinking about reading the manga, i suggest watching the anime first because the manga is incomplete. although the anime is sorta incomplete there are details that the manga doesn’t cover. also there are 2 movies that go along with the story. enjoy watching/reading!
okay i just finished and wow... i didn’t expect sakurada to marry ruby . i mean over all he was a great character tbh. like it kinda shocked me when he tried to kiss umino when she was sleeping. anyway, i definitely recommend this manga. at first the characters are super annoying but it gets better over time. i rate it 9/10. i mean i’m not surprised because it’s one of naoki’s works
