The reason everyone loved this story so much back then and why it was rated so highly was because it felt so different from every other BL. It was known for being pure fluff with a genuinely healthy dynamic, which is honestly so hard to find. No it’s turned into any other normalized rape story out there. Like we can read any other story if we’re looking for that toxic angst, but wasn’t supposed to be of them!!!
Bro the more chapters I read the more confused I am?? Wasn’t he bitching that he didn’t want to die the first few chapters than he wanted too, then he didn’t, and now he does but also doesn’t and runs away??
I think its more like he doesnt want to die but he knows that if he fails to fulfill his duty as a sacrifice, his family will be the one who will have to pay for it. Rn he knows that mugo has no plans to kills him so he's more anxious not knowing what the head family could do to his family. He probably had forgotten abt this worry while he let himself enjoy his time with mugo but after meeting his brother again, his worries are back and fear is finally sinking in. He probably didnt realise the gravity of this situation until now, thats why he asks mugo to just kill him. After realising that mugo wont kill him, he runs away hoping that atleast wandering around will cause his death.

Y’all can get mad all you want at people for being upset about this ending, but let’s be sooooo for real. If your friend came to you telling you how terrible her ex was; the verbal abuse, the borderline r*pe, and even exposing them having sex to another person without their consent, would you genuinely tell them to take that person back just because they got on their knees and cried a little?
You’d probably think they were out of their mind for even considering it. I’m not saying they should never get back together, but there needed to be A LOT more real reflection, change, groveling before that should even be a conversation
There’s no borderline about it. It’s flat r@pe.
True, but you know how they love to play it as “Consensual non-consent“ when in reality it’s literally just r@pe
Word for word what I wanted to say.. Also the audacity people have to call him a yearner
