That’s the complicated part. Though he is a grown man, he’s still in this little body that’s just barely starting to develop hormones. Ofc he’s gonna have “feelings” cause he’s getting to that stage with puberty coming and all. but it’s at least nice that he is conscious of his “actual” age and knows that it would be weird to have a relationship with Tessia or any other one of the girls.
