Wedding Plans for Mr. & Mr.
A wedding planner in love with a lying man. I didn't know for sure until I read to chapter 25 that I really enjoy this story. There are tropes that are cliche like toxic behavior but I like that there is a footnote at the top to warn us on what's to come so that I can mentally prepare for it. I like that the issue cleared up cleanly and no bullshit along the way so this is solid 5 stars for me
Speak The Truth
Season 1 was pretty much an introduction to our boys and the "enemies" side of the story. I love royalty and normal people because the different worlds that they live jn and how they clash with one another. So this is my cup of tea
Entering season 2 and DAMN THEY REALLY START THIS WITH A DEPRESSION!! I somewhat agree with gabby said but as someone who is attracted to the prince and see his study being downward awful. Why not ask him to study with you. Maybe that will change him. You think you are better just by talking shit behind people's back? But I digress.
Edit:- (chapter 40) is that a reference to Christina Perri song A Thousand Years

#ove: 4-page Anthology ~At that moment, I fell in love!~
I was reading chapter 3 and kinda shocked and baffled on wtf was that and then I read the title and realised that this bitch sliced his tongue like a serpent ☠☠
My Calypso
Love story between a greek god and a mortal human. Interesting but not uncommon trope As we have seen it in many BL manga before with different iterations with myth gods that were pulled from Asian lore and folktales. The story is pretty cute overall. However the ending is pretty short and not satisfying As I would've hoped. It felt rush and didnt give the story a proper closure like Inner Beauty did.
My Calypso is great on its own but if I have to judge between this and Inner Beauty, obviously the second option is the clear winner. It has nuisance, mysteries and historical aspect that made me excited for the next chapter. Also the story really closed itself beautifully like neatly wrap gift box with a contrasting ribbon on top. It made you think that they are living their lives fully and gives no bullshit to people around them. As long as they are together, they are happy and that's beautiful on it's own.
Overall if the story could close itself properly then I would have give it 5 stars without a doubt but As it is, I give it 4.5 stars.
(Edit: so apparently there is side story which I'm going to read it and see how it is)
Boku no Omawarisan
Its still on-going but quickly became my fav series of 2021. A spin off of Mujaki na Wanko to Nekokaburi of a store middle age owner and late 20's cop. It's cute, simple, consentual, and stress free. The relationship is cute and funny and the drama can be funny which I need after so much bullshit in BL during 2021. I love this story and it's more interesting than the prequel.
