the mc is so real... maybe I'm thinking too deep into this, but omegaverse for me always was a metaphor to how women feel in society. omegaverse is a twist on it, what if there was equal chances of men to experience that struggle as well.
I understand why the mc can't accept himself, and how his pride suffers when he realises he needs an alphas help in a world where every other alpha is a potential threat.
I love my usual omegaverse slop, but this story is so refreshing and mature
THIS a lot of women want to feel like they can do things for themselves and don’t want to be seen as needing men to do it for them, it feels degrading, it’s not that they dislike men or anything, matter of fact they want to feel equal and be able to flourish alongside men. This is what this story reminds me of, he loves what he does even if it’s dominated my alphas, and they all treat him like anyone else; a respectable equal.
EXACTLY, you get it!
I also love how this is setting up to be the story about self acceptance more than anything else.
The MC has loving family and accepting environment, yet he still struggles to embrace himself. He clearly thinks that as an omega he can't be strong and equal to the alphas and betas around him, and he's afraid of being viewed as weak. He's insecure and I hope we will see some character development, and the ML will help him love himself whole... Man this story has so much potential
