Omg you're right! Author dropped us a foreshadow of how the story is going. This is so cool. Im not sure how I'm liking the story but it got me anxious. ML is manipulative and spoutting lies after lies. So I wanna see how he gets out of this after FL found Dietrich. Dont think this story will have a happy ending with how effed up FL got
His character the fact she was complimenting him, as in his personality and him as a whole. Meanwhile when she asks for compliments in return, he just praises her looks and boobs.
This was a chance, a moment for 2 people to grow closer as a couple and raise one another up, but he dropped the ball. I know he'll repent later but this just shows emotionally, and maturity wise where he is in this relationship. In the shallow end of the pool.
