man this novel is so confusing
so basically cannas mother is some sort of divine being if i understood correctly and she had twins one of them being canna and another the korean girl (her name changes constantly in translation so idk which name to use) when her mother went to korea she only took 1 of her daughters and left canna there. her mother fell in love with Alexanders brother who is the real duke.
btw Alexander knows korean and knew that canna and her sister switched bodies right away.
and like this is the part where its so confusing
the ml is alexander but apparently canna was his lover from before, in the novel canna committed s@cide in front of him, so this time he decided to raise her as his daughter to protect her from the temple bc she has divine power. he also literally loved canna so much he wouldnt mind sacrificing anything. personally i didnt like the ending bc author showed Alexanders backstory which was sad and in that way tried to justify his actions. btw nothing really happened between her and cullen and onisiri. cullen died in the end while trying to stop himself from being manipulated to kiII canna. he was also under some spell casted by the dark apostle to like canna. btw the dark apostle is the first prince.onisiri survived same as lucy.isabella also died trying to protect canna.the novel isnt really romance based, most of the novel is just her fighting to survive and find out things.
but when i was reading the novel i thought the male lead would be Raphael the aide of sylvien and ex priest bc he loved her since the moment they met ,but in the end its only bc of her divine power.

idek how they gonna put the whole novel into manhwa bc if they gonna do it, its gonna be over 300 chapters.
