I think it’s the ease of replication that’s throwing me off. Like — I would have liked It better if there was some sort of arc for development of his skills to the level of a Freddie or MJ. I also feel like it’s downplaying how legendary these real people are. When I read other music mangas — or even sports; there’s this element of respect for how difficult these things are in real life and they give a more humanistic approach even if there’s magic involved. I just wasn’t expecting this story to be so…easy?

That's true. but there are somethings that needs to be considered. for once lou is a demon a being that is heartless, Merciless and cruel if he's bored or hungry he will kill anyone or anything that he sees and eat it. And the definition of demon you already know about it. where as Elle is an angel. A bring that is pure,justand reasonable she can't just mindlessly kill someone or just kill in general...maybe. cuzshe will become fallen.and there are other ECT . So all things considered that they would be scared of luo but not that scared of Ellie. But I do agree with you though no needs more respect.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

100% like this whole pushing elle to be a romantic intrest thing and essentially making her seem powerless by doing the cliche misogynistic "must save weak female" thing is sooooo old. especially since the author created such a cool and complex character like Lu and he's literally the reason the MC has even made it this far..... idk it's one of the only big issues i have with this lately. ik it supposed to be humorous but the Mc has always treated Lu badly despite heavily relying on him while treating elle great but also having her character / presence be more shallow and less impactful beyond her being a cliche naive "good" angel type. i guess this whole chaos arc is about finding balance so hopefully their relationships all find balance too lol

I actually feel like it's favourism. The relationship between mc and Lou ain't actually bad. They Treet each other like any other friend would .and you know friends treat each other like shit. I think the relationship is good but I would like Lou to get more respect because I think he deserve's it .
