I’m glad we’re seeing Hazuki act up a bit because I feel like he’s constantly trying to be perfect. Which isn’t healthy. Your kids may just naturally take to others, who are not you, but that doesn’t mean you’re a bad parent. He definitely needs to get over that in order to be a better partner. I don’t think Nao was in the wrong at all because he tried to reassure him and there’s no way you should be expected to give every little detail of a conversation to your mate
