I wanted to add a clarification to previous MTL trans by others. Mainly highlighting that there seems to be a lot of resentment or prejudice between GS and 704. And it may be the reason they supposedly hate each other. This is not an accurate or full TL. Just bits and pieces I want to highlight more. SPOILERs below: . . . .
c44: Starting from where GS tells 704 he is sleeping with him due to his own guilt, 704 gets mad and says "why are you ordering me around? You did it with me a few times and now you feel you are above me?" 704 goes on to say "How can you treat humans like this? ... you need humans to live. How does it feel begging for sex from humans you look down on? ... you look ugly right now." This seems to set GS off. GS retorts with all the stuff about hating reapers, he has sex to survive but reapers do it for pleasure. Basically implying 704 is a hypocrite. (Apparently Reapers are considered humans of the netherworld. I didnt know that till I reread the authors not... -_-)
C45: Starting from flashback of Yama. "You don't want to sleep with humans? But you have no choice. You'll die." Then the Hands reach out and say "They are all lowly and vulgar... they should all be killed" and then chokes GS. I think those are a Reaper's hands. As mentioned before, its the same pattern as on 704's neck, just different letters/number. GS then takes off his mask and thinks "What is it like to beg for sex from humans who look down on you." And he looks down at 704 and thinks "You should see how filthy you look right now."
The reaper hands that want goblins to die, makes me think there is maybe widespread prejudice against goblins. Northern king was also mentioned to not like goblins. And 704 says goblins marking people is also vulgar. It seems like GS doesn't like relying on humans to live. He resents needing sex from them when they look down on him. GS and 704 have a long way to go....
Once again this is not completely accurate but I tried comparing the KR raws with another language that I know a bit better. Can't wait for the Eng release to find out I was completely off the mark lol....
thank you for this OMG i did get those vibes from the manhwa but i wasn't sure what was the translations on some parts.... why are they so full of miscommunications TT geumsun clearly cares for 704 but i feel like he's hurt bc he thinks 704 doesn't care about him and looks down on him so he hurt 704 back but then regret it later and apologised.....

Hmm just a theory here: Geumsan explains to San (ch 22) that ghostly monsters like Hwan “emerge from the earth…out of ground that has absorbed wicked energies from humans”.
So if reapers are considered human, maybe 704 (and/or the unidentified reaper) did something-poss to the goblins?-which resulted in the wicked energy that formed Hwan and led to all kinds of unexpected consequences including San’s accident?
And maybe this indirect method ties in with Yama saying the accident with San was 704’s fault although Geumsan said otherwise.
