I just read the finale in korean and y’all….. it’s bad. It’s making me regret reading all this
My issue is, the author keeps showing it. It adds nothing her being basically a toddler, he could have been older than her, but THAT young? Could have made her a teen and it would not affect the story (cause her being so young adds nothing) but it would be less uncomfortable. Like seeing him pick her up like a little girl when you saw him fucking her some chs ago is so icky
I’m the postscript for s2 the author said the age gap is meant to be 6-7 years in human terms. She imagines them as early twenties and late twenties (27). Enough that you can be like “oh there’s a gap” but not big enough that it’s an actual reason for an ick. So yeah, in universe it’s not meant to be a big deal. So yeah, for fantasy stuff like this you gotta have some suspension of disbelief.
You probably dont remember but on the early chapter. Naos keep refusing her advantage because he knows and he dont wanna get involved with her. So literally hes not a pedo and its not just him whos a hundred old, pania is already an old grandma if we will base them on human standard. So dont you dare blame all of this to Naos.
That makes sense. In human terms, when Naos was 18, Pania would have been about 12-13 years old, so he would look like a man already and she as a child. At 16 there are already plenty of guys who already look like a man.
Also, I had a teacher who was was married to an ex-student. He was about 23 when he was teaching her as a 14 year old at school. They had a normal teacher-student relationship, never kept in touch, but met again years later when she was in her 20s. They got close as friends, started to date and got married. And we got to know all that because he overshared at graduation when someone comented his wife looked young lol

I’m thoroughly impressed by how the artists kept up with his hair growing as the seasons changed. It’s a detail and care for the character that I haven’t seen
