lemme just add a bunch of words so the spoiler doesn't get to people who don't want it. it's been years since I last read the full novel, so my memory might be wrong. i apologize for that in advance. and I'll spoil just the ending cause it's long and complicated if I continue from this point and my memory is kinda hazy and im glossing over a lot of important points but this is the gist of it using my terrible memory.

basically, kdj is the oldest dream, yjh is the secretive plotter, hsy is tls123.
the censored word we often see is "the end"
oldest dream = needed existence for the universe to run on to.
secretive plotter = 1863 round yjh
tls123 = author of three ways of survival [went back in time to save kdj losing a lot of her pieces(?)]
there's like sort of two endings(?):
1st, they defeated the doekkaebi king and they all go back happy and celebrating! which is the happy ending.
2nd, if you continue to read, kdj became the oldest dream and was left in the train and the gang tried to rescue him but didn't fully succeed because he's in a coma and became a kid. hsy made the story and yjh set out in a journey in various worlds to give out kdj's story to heal him. and those who read the story, in our case is titled "omniscient's reader viewpoint" and in kdj's case is "three ways of survival", are fragments of kdj. and the ending is actually an open ending cause it ends with stories forming outside lee seolwha's hospital where kdj is confined have bunch of stories that they know. so yea, just kinda implying that kdj is healing or woke up or whatever the reader wants.
