He doesn't give a shit and is too prideful to even acknowledge it. Mc's younger brother had to beg and frame it that it would also be benificial for him as a king. And it was about the king didn't want a victory march for mc. Literally deflected any wrongdoings because he's a pussy. It made mc's little brother see that, their father might not be incompetent but he's not the smartest person either.
